Manuel Vaz
A visionary entrepreneur and strategist for major events since 1997, his career has been marked by innovation, leadership and the ability to turn challenges into remarkable achievements. With consolidated experience in strategic communication and the organisation of large-scale events, he has been involved in initiatives with a global impact, from international bids to cultural shows and landmark conferences.
Founder and CEO of Expanding World, the company responsible for creating the Global Exploration Summit (GLEX), a benchmark event in exploration and innovation, co-organised with The Explorers Club in New York. He is a consultant for Axiom Space, collaborating in the definition of missions and scientific experiments in the space sector.
He is a member of the Strategic Council of APPM - Portuguese Association of Marketing Professionals, contributing his global vision and experience in communication and impact events.
He currently leads innovative projects at the intersection of science, technology and exploration, including a pioneering expedition to Antarctica.
